The most famous flower in a classic winter bouquet is the Christmas star, or poinsettia. poinsettia meets different colors- burgundy, white, light green, but the most popular, of course, is red. In winter, this flower in a pot can be bought at Ikea, Auchan, Ob, it is inexpensive. Artificial poinsettias are also sold, of various sizes and types - on stems, in bouquets, in garlands. The tradition of using this plant is also borrowed from the West. The Christmas star, as its second name implies, is more suitable for New Year's compositions and home decoration for Christmas.
If your bouquet should be winter-themed without New Year's paraphernalia, it is better to resort to other colors. It is worth choosing those that are available in any season, for example, roses, lilies, orchids. Noteworthy are the flowers of late autumn and the first snow - chrysanthemums. Flowers with large inflorescences, such as peony and hydrangea, will look interesting. Cones and berries in winter compositions
When it is necessary to convey the winter atmosphere of a flower arrangement, cones and berries are our best helpers. I plan to write a separate publication about cones, because you can talk about them for a very long time. Most often in the pictures of winter bouquets you will find pine cones - different sizes, natural, dyed, covered with artificial snow. This is due to the fact that most of the pictures come to us from Western sites. In the works of domestic florists, spruce cones, larch and even cedar cones are no less popular. So feel free to use them in your art, they have the same decorative properties as pine.
As for berries, there are often difficulties with them. In our latitudes in nature, it is quite difficult to find beautiful berry branches - from the trees and shrubs available to us, probably only mountain ash meets the specified requirements. The most attractive combination with coniferous legs is given by red berries.
