For the manufacture of bookmarks - pencil take colored paper, dyed, on one side. We turn the rectangle 8 x 20 cm over with the white side and bend a thin strip, we get a red strip on white).

We fold the upper part of the strip in half and slightly outline the center line. (bend line).

On the colored side, we bend one triangle to the center line on one side and the second triangle on the other side.

Once again we bend the triangle to the center line, it becomes even narrower and longer. On the other hand, exactly the same.

We turn over, bend the strip up, iron the bend line well.

We turn over. We fold a strip of paper to the center, on the other hand in the same way.

We put the strip in the pocket so that it doesn't unfold.

It is held tightly at the bottom, but it opens slightly at the top, you can stick it a little.

How to make a pencil bookmark?

Prepare a rectangular piece of paper. The size depends on what size you need the bookmark. But the most acceptable option is the length of the strip - 21 cm, and the width - 8.5 - 9 cm.

Fold in half, with the white side on the inside.

Open the paper, put the white side towards you and fold the fold on top, no more than 1 cm.

Flip the paper over with the color facing you. Bend the right corner, aligning it with the central fold.

Then the left.

And immediately fold the right side again, aligning it with the center fold.

Then left.

Turn the paper over with the white side facing you, the pencil core is already visible on top. Bend the bottom of the paper up, approximately determining the height of the white part of the origami pencil.

Turn the paper over again and fold the sides, first the right side.

Then the left overlaps a little on the right.

To keep the sides well, open the left side a little and place the right side of the paper in the pocket inside.

The lower part is fixed well, attach the upper corner of the side with a glue stick.

Turn over, the origami pencil bookmark is ready.

How to choose pencils. Tips for parents.
The color of the pencil depends on the color pigment introduced into the lead during production. These pigments may contain salts of heavy metals. To protect the child's body from cadmium or lead, pay close attention to the packaging. Look for the CE letters on it, which confirm that the pencils meet the European quality standard and have passed all safety tests. Proper pencils are made from softwood and smell like wood, not solvents.
Estimate the diameter of the stylus. It is desirable that it be 3 millimeters. This indicates that the lead is well centered and resistant to stress. There are two types of stylus. Waxes may contain harmful organic solvents. Water-soluble leads are safer. You can understand which copy is in front of you by wetting a sheet of paper with water and drawing a line on it. The wax pencil will leave a barely noticeable mark. Water-soluble - a clear line.
High-quality pencils undergo seven-layer staining. Therefore, a seam from gluing wood is not noticeable on them. Advice to new parents! For children under three years old, it is better to give trihedral pencils. They develop fine motor skills well.

Stages of the craft:
This master class presents the idea of making a pencil using the Origami technique.
1. The pencil is made from one-sided colored paper. Take a sheet of colored paper. Fold it in half lengthwise and cut along the marked line.

2. Fold the edge of the rectangle, about 1 cm.

3. Turn the workpiece right side up.

4. Fold the workpiece right side inward in half along the length.

5. Expand. Bend the extreme corners to the intended line according to the principle of making an airplane.

6. Turn the workpiece to the wrong side.

7. Fold the workpiece in half widthwise, leaving a white triangular canvas.

8. Rotate the workpiece again.

9. Bend the bottom edge of the workpiece towards the middle.

10. Do the same with the top edge.

11. Connect the valves together by inserting the corners into the formed pocket.

12. "Sharpen" the pencil, bending the edges of the white canvas to the middle. For strength, connect the valves with a drop of glue.

13. So, the blue pencil is ready.

14. It is fashionable to use such pencils instead of a bookmark.
But we went further. Connected them together with glue.

15. Added small paper flowers and leaves. And now, the collective panel of paper pencils is ready.

Thank you for your attention! We will be glad to the usefulness of our idea.

How many options for bookmarks can be made with the children using the origami technique! It is not necessary to say that the child does not open the book at all and does not read anything. It is worth stocking up on a few wonderful bookmarks and putting them one by one in your favorite book or school textbook. Believe me, it will always be interesting for a child to open and see what is inside. And at the same time, he will quickly find the right page (the one on which he finished reading the last time) and be sure to read something. In general, we assure you that a paper bookmark is not only interesting to make, but also a useful craft.

This tutorial shows you how to make the popular origami paper pencil figurine, perfect for bookmarking. Use any bright shades and experiment.

What you need to create an origami pencil bookmark:

  • a strip of colored paper (cut along an A4 sheet or other);
  • maybe a little glue to hold the ends together after folding, or you can do without.

How to make an origami pencil:

If you cut lengthwise a sheet of A4 paper and take one half, then you will get a strip that is suitable in size for creating crafts. Be sure to have a white sheet on the reverse side, that is, the paper must be one-sided.

Turn the paper over with the white side facing you and fold the paper across, about 1 cm or so from the edge. This way you will show the reverse yellow side of the paper.

Turn the workpiece again with the yellow side towards you. In the place where the fold was, find the middle and, relying on this point, fold the upper corners into a house, as seen in the photo. There should be a yellow stripe in the middle.

Next, using the same midpoint, fold over the top (already bevelled) corners again to highlight a sharper spire, the tip of which will be colored. This will be the future lead of our pencil. And in color it will be the same as the paper we have chosen.

Turn the blank with the white side towards you.

Bend the paper in the middle, lifting the bottom end of the sheet up and showing the colored side. Do not bring the edge of the paper to the sharp tip of the pencil by 1-2 cm.

Turn the workpiece again. Fold along the right and left sides.

Pencil bookmark is ready. It remains only to iron (smooth) the folded sides well or even glue them neatly if the paper is thick and diverges.
