Oddly enough, but the creation of a backpack designer company XD Design was inspired by the crowded places of Shanghai. Worried about the safety of their belongings, passers-by wore a backpack on their stomachs. Then the idea was born to create a unique backpack against thieves. How can you get to the contents of the backpack if it does not have a zipper? At first glance, it seems that the backpack does not unzip at all. This is the uniqueness of the design.
The zipper in the main section goes right along the edge of the back of the backpack itself. The unique concept allows you to open the backpack at three different angles: 30°, 90°, 180°. For easy and quick access to, for example, a notepad or tablet, it is enough to open the backpack at an angle of 30 °, holding it by the top handle. Putting the backpack on the table, it will be convenient for you to open it to 90°. If you want to get something very large out of the backpack, then just put it down and open it like a travel suitcase 180 °.
To protect the backpack from squeezing and trying to cut the material, the developers applied a layered effect. Five layers of different types of materials were used to create a solid structure. The top layer is a stylish polyester fabric. The fabric from which the sides and front of the backpack are made is waterproof. This is followed by a layer of soft material that protects against impacts, and after - several layers of fabric, providing additional reliability. The main protection against cuts is guaranteed by the insertion of a sheet of plastic in front of the lining.
When traveling by public transport, it is very problematic and inconvenient to look for a wallet or a ticket at the very bottom of the backpack. To make life as easy as possible for us, the developers of the backpack have provided it with pockets for quick access. A small pocket on the inside of the shoulder strap can hold your travel card or keys. There are also two pockets on the back of the backpack, one of which has a zipper. They can store documents and a mobile phone.
Reflectors are located in four zones on the backpack: two on the sides on top, one in the form of a strip on the front side, and the third is the company logo itself. Reflectors reflect evenly throughout 360 °, and it does not matter which side the light source was from. You will be visible already at a distance of 100 meters.
On the inside of the right strap there is a USB port to which you can connect your gadget if the battery is low. It is only necessary to connect an external battery to the cable inside, which is sold separately and is not included in the package.
A well-thought-out organization of departments allows you to correctly distribute the weight and reduce the load on the shoulders. The heaviest items are located closest to the back, and strong partitions between departments do not allow weight to move when moving. So the weight of the backpack is perceived to be 20-25% lighter than when using standard backpack models. Maximum comfort is achieved with a special finish on the back and straps of the backpack.
